Description: Open College Network North West Region is an organisation which offers accreditation to learners for whom traditional qualifications are inappropriate and inaccessible. It is a Network of members and users - colleges of further education, universities and colleges of higher education, voluntary and community organisations and employers - operating as its name suggests in the North West Region. It was first established as the Manchester Open College Federation in 1981 and as such is the longest established member of the National Open College Network
