Description: Streetwise Opera uses music as a tool to help people who have experienced homelessness move forward in their lives. We do this through a weekly music programme in 11 homeless centres around England and by staging professional opera productions.
Our sessions in Manchester take place every Wednesday from 1-3pm and are free to attend. You can get involved with singing and acting, regular theatre trips and opportunities to perform on stage.
We work at the Booth Centre as part of their Academy Awards Programme where you can work towards an Award and recieve £10 each time you complete one! If you're homeless or living in a hostel and want to try something different the Booth Centre will have something for you.
