Opportunity title Summary
Employability Support Volunteer Our program prepares members for the world of work through mock interviews and work experience. Members on the course are also taught key personal skills for employment such as self-awareness, motivation and empathy.
Gym Instructor Volunteer Senior members have access to our fully equipped fitness suite. Ran by qualified Fitness Instructors, the gym offers young people the chance to get fitter, stronger and healthier in a safe and friendly environment. Members can also get help from our Fitness Instructors to develop a plan that works for them.
Arts Activity Volunteer Our arts team comprises of staff and dedicated volunteers with varied specialities such as textiles and fashion, screen printing, fine art, graffiti and photography. The enthusiastic team pass on their skills to our members across all sessions.
Sports Volunteer We offer a huge range of sports to all our members! Working on the concept of “try, train, team”, young people of all abilities are able to access different sports.
Inclusion Volunteer Inclusion volunteers take on a very important role of supporting our members with additional needs or a disability to engage fully at the youth centre. Inclusion volunteers do not provide one to one support but support young people to build relationships, try new activities and become more confident.
Mini Bus Driver Volunteer We require minibus drivers to join a list for adhoc volunteering when required for young people to be able to attend trips and competitions.
Volunteering Opportunities at Factory Youth Zone Support a youth organisation that provides a unique safe place for young people aged 8 – 19, from across Manchester.
