Description: The Men's Room works with young men (up to 30 yrs) with experience of the criminal justice system, sex work +/or homelessness

• Red Room (Out)
A weekly creative session for young men with experience of the criminal justice system. This session gives young men access to high quality arts opportunities and offers informal access to support from partner agencies. Recent projects include performances at The Royal Exchange Theatre Studio and a documentary film screened at The Cornerhouse.

• Blue Room
A weekly creative personal development session for young men with experience of sex work and who may be vulnerable to exploitation. The young men’s’ creative writing was recently displayed as part of an exhibition at Manchester Museum

• Men’s Room Drop In
An informal weekly session where young men can directly access support from Men’s Room staff and partner agencies.

• Outreach
Street based outreach sessions, engaging young men in parts of Manchester city centre known to be hotspots for male sex work. Particular focus on vulnerable young men and supporting city centre crime reduction.

Non-cash donations: The Men's Room are desperate for toiletries for their service users. Anything would be appreciated - shower gel, razors, shaving foam, deodorant etc. They would also really appreciate any non-perishable food donations. Please call 0161 834 1827 to arrange drop-off of items.

Withdrawn: Group Work AND Creative Sessions Support Volunteer We are looking to add to our team of Group Work and creative session Volunteers. Our Group Work volunteers support the delivery of our creative sessions. Working with staff and other volunteers they facilitate the delivery of a wide range of group work activities focused on creativity and the arts, including but not limited to drama, music, photography etc. Our creative sessions currently run typically in an early evening between Tuesday and Friday each week, however some occasional weekend sessions may also happen.
Administration and Research Volunteer As an administration and research volunteer you will assist the team with administration, contributing to the efficient running of organisation and ensuring that we can continue to deliver our services on the front line. The role is office based, helping with tasks relevant to the organisations different departments, as well the opportunity to conduct specific research projects.
Caseworker Volunteer We are expanding our volunteer programme and looking for five Advocacy Case Workers to become part of our Health and Social team. These roles will provide in-house support for our case workers and service users, both at our office and across the Greater Manchester area.
