WomenMATTA is UK charity Women in Prison's Greater Manachester service, with a main women's centre based in Hulme. WomenMATTA provide intensive holistic and trauma informed support to women serving probation orders within the community with the aim to prevent or reduce offending.We can provide support and signposting services on; finance benefit and debt, education training and employment, domestic and sexual abuse, mental health and wellbeing, sex working, housing advocacy, and health advocacy.Alongside the national probation service and a range of support services, we provide accessible, women only hubs across Manchester and Trafford that act as a ‘one stop shop’ for women to attend and access the support they require.
Services delivered:
Practical and emotional support to women involved in, or at risk of involvement in the Criminal Justice System, via 1-2-1 support and group work/drop ins.
