Disability Pride Month Monday 1st July – Wednesday 31st July
About
Disability Pride Month is celebrated in July every year in the UK to honour the achievements and lived experiences of those with a disability. The month serves as a time for society to consider how we can become more inclusive towards disabled people and develop our understandings of how everyone experiences the world in a different way, something we need to deeply consider in order to create a more equal and fair society that promotes the voices of disabled people. This Disability Pride Month we’re highlighting celebratory events and organisations across Manchester.
