Enjoy a fundraising evening of authentic Gujarati food, with take home lunch for the next day included.

On Sunday 19 May Cracking Good Food are taking over Disorder MCR to raise funds to support their mission to create a fairer food system across Greater Manchester and to directly help Barnabus who provide a lifeline to the homeless in Manchester. For every ticket sold we will provide a nourishing hot meal to support the Barnabus community. Cracking Good Food delighted to be partnering with Disorder for the evening.

The Cooking Lead for the evening is Kala, whose love for food is woven into her DNA. Raised in a household pulsating with the aromas of spices and the clink of utensils. It was her mother who, with skilled hands and a generous heart, imparted the artistry of cooking and the joy of sharing meals.

Each dish she prepares is infused with love and tradition, a testament to the culinary heritage passed down through generations. With every bite, she pays homage to her roots and celebrates the flavours that define her identity.

Kala is steadfast in her belief that food has the power to nourish not only the body but also the soul. She leaves a lasting impression on all who have the privilege of tasting her creations and sharing in her joyous feasts.

For over 30 years Barnabus has been helping people’s journey from the streets in Manchester. ‘It’s not just about a bed, it’s about opening a door.

Ticket price: £60 per person
