Join Groundwork for an exciting 2-day event which will be walking approximately 10 miles along the River Medlock, taking in the sights, sounds and life of the Medlock Valley.
The meeting point is Daisy Nook Country Park car park. Meet at 9am and start walking at 9:30am.
The walk will go along the River, passing through Sunnybank Vale, Clayton Vale, Ashton Canal and Pin Mill Brow. There will be stops along the way with refreshments available. The walk is expected to finish at 1.30pm, and will have refreshments and fun activities on offer until 3pm.
The total distance for this day is roughly 9.5km / 6 miles. The walk will be at a gentle pace with stops along the way.
