Section 3: your project

Aim to write 300 words

Successful applicants will be expected to attend a collaborative project co-design workshop, involving people with lived experience of gambling harms, where you will be supported to develop your approach to utilising the funds. We recognise that details of your project might change following this. Please answer the questions the best you can at this stage.

We want to hear your ideas about what activity you might deliver and how communities will be engaged in the design and delivery. You might want to think about:

  • How you will raise awareness of gambling harms within your organisation and your community, such as through targeted outreach, education, and engagement
  • Why you think this approach will work, with examples of past work your group has done to address related social issues, such as mental health, addiction, or community engagement
  • How you might involve local experts by lived experience of gambling related harms
  • Expected duration and timeline (projects to be completed within 6 months)

Aim to write 300 words

Please include:

  • How many people you plan to engage (e.g. 50 people engaged)
  • Anticipated outcomes for individuals and the wider community, such as increased awareness, improved mental health, improved confidence in holding a conversation around gambling harms
  • Any additional or wider benefits of the project
  • Any learning you expect to gain as a result of this project

Provide a breakdown of expected costs using sums where appropriate to show us how you calculated them. You may include within the costs an allocation to your time for participating in the collaborative co-design and reflective sessions. Please also include details of any existing / in-kind resources which will be used to support your involvement in this programme, for example, staff time or equipment funded from another project or core funding. We support and promote the Living Wage, contributing to ending low pay in the third sector.
