2 x UK Year of Service Green Start Environmental Traineeship for 18 - 24 year olds at The Conservation Volunteers

Every day TCV works across the UK to create healthier and happier communities for everyone – communities where their activities have a lasting impact on people's health, prospects and outdoor places.

TCV are working in partnership with Volunteering Matters, NCS and the Government Kickstart Scheme to provide paid placements that put your skills and beliefs to work, making a difference to communities. Alongside your placement, you’ll get to take part in lots of different services and opportunities, like volunteering, networking and one-on-one support.

The UK Year of Service Programme provides a real job and talent development initiative to power up the early careers of young talent, with 50% of roles reserved for those on Universal Credit. The programme will equip you with the connections, experiences, tools and insight needed to succeed at work, help you to build a network of like-minded people, give you the skills to transition well beyond the placement, and develop long term careers in the environmental and voluntary sector.

TCV are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable and committed 18-24 year olds to join their programme based with The Conservation Volunteers in Greater Manchester.

The placements are:
2 x Conservation & Wellbeing in Nature Trainees in Greater Manchester
