Manchester Pride Local Groups

Below are examples of local groups in Manchester that provide support and advice for the LGBTQ+ community:

  • LGBT Foundation- Offers support and provide resources in the hopes to achieve equality in society for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people.
  • TransForum Manchester -Support and advice group for Trans, Non-Binary and Gender non-conforming people in Greater Manchester. Available through face to face, online and telephone. To join their weekly Saturday afternoon Zoom meeting from 3:30-7pm click here.
  • Trans Mutual Aid Manchester- Trans-led organisation that provides support, advice and give a community to trans and non-binary people. They aim to get in contact with under represented groups, who experience racism, transmisogny and those over 50
  • The Lesbian Community Project- Provide services for lesbian and bisexual women working with mainstream organisations to address the needs of lesbian and bisexual community based in Hulme. 
  • BiPhoria- Support group for bi-curious and bisexual people aged 18+. Meetings every month of the first Tuesday at LGF, 5 Richmond Street from 7:30pm.
  • Lesbian and Gay Youth Manchester (LGYM)-Weekly support groups for LGBT people including health support and activities including photography and drama
  • Lesbian Immigration Support Group-Support for bisexual and lesbian women asylum seekers and refugees, providing emotional and practical support.
