Do you have a great idea that could make a difference in your community?
Apply for up to £2,500 to support a project that benefits people living in Ancoats and Beswick.
Community groups, voluntary organisations and local residents are invited to apply for funding that will help make a positive impact in the neighbourhood.
What the Community Soup is looking to support:
- Creating employment and training opportunities for young people
- Improving health and wellbeing
- Supporting local projects that strengthen communities and neighbourhoods
How it works
If your application is shortlisted, you'll be invited to deliver a five-minute pitch at a Community Soup event. The Community will then vote for the projects they would most like to see funded.
Funding available: Up to £2,500 per project
Application deadline: 20th October 2026
Community Soup event: 27 October 2026, 6.30pm to 9.00pm, please arrive at 6pm
Venue: Co-op Live, 1 Sportcity Way, Manchester M11 3DU Entrance A & B
