Assist Neighbourhood Care Group - Trustees Required

Assist is a small charity in south Manchester that provides support to older people in the community. Assist has an excellent reputation in south Manchester, have hard working staff / volunteers and a dedicated board of trustees.

Assist are facing a challenging year in terms of future funding and need new dynamic trustees who are willing to get involved to oversee and support the organisation through the current and future challenges.

Assist are particularly looking for trustees who have experience in HR, finance, fundraising, change management, contract management and networking.
Assist provide services such as lunch club, exercise classes, film club, befrienders, and shopping, day trips.

If you have experience of managing employees/volunteers and developing services then Assist would love to hear from you.

Meetings take place every six weeks and are held in the evening to enable Trustees working to attend. Assist also welcomes new trustees who have volunteer experience and have an interest in making a difference.
