20 Aug 2020 - 14:37 by michelle.foster

pennine carePennine Care NHS Foundation Trust are delighted that alongside their Non-Executive Directors they are creating an exciting new Associate Non-Executive role, to support someone into what may well be their first board level role in the NHS, and they would welcome applications from people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities to improve the diversity of the board and provide a different perspective, in addition lived experience as a service user or carer would be especially welcomed, and the Trust would provide support to enable you to develop into the role.

The Trust would hope that you would be able to learn as much from your time with them, as they learn from your experience and contributions to the board.

This development opportunity of up to two years is being established to help candidates to gain the experience necessary to help them secure a substantive Non-Executive Director position in the NHS in the future and the successful candidate will receive a tailored induction and development programme, along with mentorship from Chair, Evelyn Asante-Mensah.

Although the Associate Non-Executive Director does not have the legal responsibility of a full Board member and does not participate in the formal voting, the post holder will be an integral member of the wider Board and will attend and contribute to meetings of the Board of Directors and its sub-committees as required.

Remuneration: £7,500 (for 2-3 days per month)

The Trust are hosting an information session for anyone interested in the Associate NED role on 19 August 2020, 4pm-5.30pm. To register your attendance and receive the link to the Zoom meeting email: [email protected] / [email protected]
