Awards for All England light pilot

31 Mar 2015 - 09:55 by michelle.foster

Are you interested in helping The Big Lottery by trying out a shorter and simpler Awards for All application form?

The Big Lottery are looking for around 100 A4A applicants to help them pilot a new A4A application form during April and May 2015. This is part of their commitment to delivering simple processes and using good judgement.

To be eligible for this pilot you would need to be:
• ready to submit your application within 4 weeks
• happy to spend an hour or so after you’ve applied giving feedback about your experience of the pilot application form and process
• based in one of the following regions: Yorkshire and Humber, North East, North West, Eastern or South East

If you don’t meet these pilot eligibility criteria you should use the normal A4A England application form to apply.

In return for participating in this pilot you can expect:
• a shorter and simpler application form to complete
• a quicker decision on your application, and speedier payment of your grant if successful
• sincere appreciation for helping to improve the application process

If you think you’re eligible for this pilot contact 0345 4 10 20 30 or email: [email protected]. You’ll need to have the following information available for the call or to send in the email:
• your name, phone number and email address
• your organisation’s name
• whether your organisation is a school, a public body, a charity registered with the Charities Commission, or not registered with the Charities Commission
• whether your organisation has had A4A funding before

There are only around 100 places available for this pilot so unfortunately not every organisation that expresses an interest will be able to take part. The Big Lottery should be able to tell you whether you’ve been accepted onto the pilot within one working day of your email or call.
