barchester's charitable foundationBarchester’s Charitable Foundation is a registered charity that helps older people and other adults with a disability across England, Scotland and Wales. Their focus is about connecting or re-connecting people with others in their local community, and they support applications that combat loneliness and enable people to be active and engaged.

The foundation helps small community groups and small local charities with grants ranging from £100 up to £5,000.

Due to finances being under pressure during the Covid-19 pandemic because of the cancellation of most fundraising events. In order to maintain the level of grants at a time when, arguably, they are needed most, the Foundation have decided to use a proportion of the funds from the Jeanette Gill Specialist Awards to support their usual grants this year. This means that the Foundation are open for applications as normal, but will be awarding more part grants in order to help more people and groups in these challenging times.
