BBC Community Doorway

17 Jan 2014 - 10:07 by michelle.foster

The BBC’s Community Doorway programme is where charities and community organisations can apply to access the skills and expertise of BBC staff volunteers to help deliver a one-off project.

You may want support to create a short film to showcase the work of your charity, to set up a website, or even to produce a community event of your own.

Who can apply?
Applications from charities and community groups in Hammersmith & Fulham, Westminster, Salford and Greater Manchester that work with 16-24 year olds and/or groups that are considered to be disadvantaged or socially excluded are welcomed.

If this sounds like a group you know and you have an idea that you’d like to bring to life with the help of the BBC, visit: www.bbc.co.uk/outreach/charity/Community-Doorway

Applications for projects that engage other audiences will be considered but priority will be given to those beneficiaries considered hardest to reach through traditional broadcasting.

Application deadlines:
Applications are assessed 4 times a year. Rounds close at midnight on the 31 January, 30 April, 31 July and 31 October
