Over the past three years communities up and down the country have come together to celebrate the life of Jo Cox MP. Thousands of community events have taken place, with people around the country showing that we have more in common.
This year’s Great Get Together will be different from previous years. This year, though we can’t get together, we can still connect together. This year celebrate the power of community. That could be something in your street or neighbourhood, like a cuppa over the hedge with your neighbour or a sing-a-long in your street, or it could be something online or on the phone, like calling that friend you’ve not spoken to in ten years.
Everyone’s safety is priority so ensure anything you plan adheres fully to the social distancing guidelines laid out in the country you are in.
