Building a healthy future – Living well in later life

Over 55? Would you like to learn skills to help you thrive in later life? Are you approaching retirement with worries about the future? Or perhaps you’ve retired a while ago and would like to meet new people and learn something new? Mind Manchester

Manchester Mind’s Wellbeing in Later Life is a free six week course aiming to help people learn tools and techniques to improve their psychological wellbeing as they age. Aimed at everyone over 55, the course focuses on teaching ways to improve mood, manage stress, and improve confidence. The course also includes relaxation techniques and a focus on helping people meet challenges and set goals for the future.

The next course will take place on Wednesday afternoons, 1pm – 3.30pm starting Wednesday 2 May. Last session on 13 June. No formal session 6 June, but drop-in available. Sessions will take place at Northenden Social Club, 408-412 Palatine Rd, Wythenshawe, Manchester M22 4JT.

Places are free but you do need to register.
