Cash Grant Funding 2013/14 in Wythenshawe

£30,400 is available in each of the five Wythenshawe wards (Baguley, Brooklands, Northenden, Sharston and Woodhouse Park), which is less than in previous years. Applications must be for projects based in the local area that address local priorities and deliver community benefit.

It is strongly recommend that applications are made as soon as possible because funds are limited and uptake will be very high. Applications will be considered and awarded on a rolling basis and are likely to be allocated early in the financial year.

Priority areas for Wythenshawe Cash Grants this year will tackle:
• Domestic violence
• Health & nutrition
• Work skills & training
• I.T. access and I.T. skills
• Literacy
• Youth activities

Eligibility - The following will not be considered:
Projects that do not directly benefit Manchester residents
Projects that have already been completed
Activities that promote political or religious doctrine, teachings or activism
Activities where the applicant will have a personal financial benefit
Projects that improve or benefit privately owned land which has no public access
Services for individual benefit (e.g. counselling, professional legal advice) where there is no wider community benefit
