MIF/The Factory are looking to pilot partnerships with four small organisations from Manchester or Salford. They’ll provide £10,000 as well as 12 months of logistical and capacity building support.
They are looking to open up direct and honest dialogues to improve knowledge and understanding so the range of voices from across the region are heard and reflected across their wider programme.
The Community Partnerships Programme aims to create more equitable partnerships and meaningful relationships between community groups and larger cultural institutions.
It is hoped that the four organisations who successfully apply in this initial pilot project will become friends of the Factory and form part of a wider network of organisations who all share the ambition of making Manchester a greater place to live, as well as a leading creative and cultural hub.
