The last Friday of every month, Hope Mill Theatre based in Ancoats, Manchester hosts a relaxing play reading group, from 11am - 1pm. Open to all ages, it is a great way to meet new people, enjoy a hot beverage and immerse yourself in the world of theatre, and is often hosted by cast members of upcoming shows. This month it will be a member from the cast of Mame, which premieres on the 29 September.
It is very easy to get involved, simply turn up to the theatre just before 11am, there is no hassle of booking just a simple entry fee of £6, with a hot drink included and biscuits on the side. This month it will be taking place on the 27 September followed by the 25 October the month after.
