BRIDGES dementia network are inviting people living with dementia and the people who support them to a creative workshop in Manchester. Taking place on 22nd and 23rd June at Friends’ Meeting House (6 Mount St, Manchester M2 5NS).
Drop in to share what you enjoy, what gets in the way, and dream up ideas for new technology that could make everyday life richer.
BRIDGES dementia network. will play with ideas big and small from music to maps, from robots to a proper chat with friends. Come and share what you love and help picture what new technology for life with dementia could look like if it was designed around you.
What happens on the day?
Join for one or more of the friendly sessions. Each session is about two hours long and looks at a different part of life. In each session you’ll chat about what you enjoy, what could be better, and then the lab session will imagine design ideas together. There will be no wrong answers, and no tech skills needed. Some ideas might be gadgets or apps, others might just be a clever twist on something everyday.
