Free wellbeing workshops coming to East Manchester

BMS Wellbeing CIC has secured funding to deliver a series of free wellbeing workshops across East Manchester.

8 unique workshops will run at 4 community venues, offering practical support around mental and physical wellbeing in a relaxed, down to earth setting. Each session lasts 2 hours, includes a light meal, and provides take home resources.

The workshops are designed to help people feel more energised, reduce stress, and make simple changes that have a real impact upon their health and wellbeing as well as those around them.

Workshop topics include:

  • 5 Ways 2 Wellbeing – five simple actions to improve mental wellbeing
  • Break the Habit: Smoking – tools and support to help you quit
  • Mindfulness – reduce stress and feel more present
  • Physical Activity – boost energy with everyday movement
  • Healthy Eating – understand how food affects your mood and body
  • Confidence in Communication – speak up and connect more easily
  • Stress and Relaxation – manage pressure and find calm
  • Sleep – improve your routine and feel more rested

Workshops will be held at the following venues:

  • Clayton Sure Start Centre: 101 North Road, Clayton, Manchester M11 4NE
  • Gorton Central: Highmead Street, Abbey Hey, Manchester M18 8PE
  • The Grange Community Resource Centre: 4 Pilgrim Drive, Beswick, Manchester M11 3TQ
  • Manchester Settlement: 1328–1330 Ashton Old Road, Openshaw, Manchester M11 1JG
