Frontline Workforce Network

Are you a frontline worker seeking community, professional growth, and a space to share your experiences? Have your say in co-designing a Frontline Network to support you.

For the last 6 years a GM wide network for Personalised Care ARRS roles has convened social prescribing link workers, Care Coordinators and Health and Wellbeing Coaches to provide peer support and help identify and address collective development needs.

Last year GMCA worked with MEAM (Making Every Adult Matter) to run a GM Frontline Voice Collaboration, which brought together Changing Futures, Housing First and RSI to share and learn through networking events.

In line with Live Well and the importance of integrated roles around navigation and support, they are exploring bringing different workforces across health and social care, who each have experience of providing holistic, person centred support to people, together to learn from each other.

Two events are being hosted to explore the potential benefits of a wider network, and how it could best be structured and run. This will be followed up with a series of network events running until September as a proof-of-concept period. The last session in September will focus on reflecting back on lessons learnt to the workforce and jointly finalise recommendations on how a future, sustainable Frontline Workforce offer can be delivered which encourages partnership working and joint learning and  support.

The two co-design sessions are opportunities to shape what this frontline network should look like. These sessions provide an opportunity to share what would be most useful to you in your role and to explore what it takes to feel more connected to others delivering support in neighbourhoods. Whether you're in health and care, working with complex needs and multiple disadvantages, or serving in another frontline public service role, your voice matters.

Join one of the sessions on 21st or 30th January 2025 to:

  • Help define what the network offers to meet your needs
  • Share your experiences and insights in a supportive, structured space held by trained facilitators
  • Be assured there is no expectation to take on additional work—this is simply a chance to shape the support you need
