Grants from £100 up to £1,000 are available for faith organisations to run activities that will support people from the communities of identity or experience below that may struggle to achieve higher levels of mental wellbeing. A faith organisation is one whose primary function is the delivery of religious activity.
This first rolling micro-grants round is specifically for faith organisations to apply for up to £1,000 to support the mental wellbeing of people from communities of identity or experience, based in Greater Manchester, including:
- Carers
- People from communities who have experienced racial inequality
- People living with long term physical or mental health conditions
- People who identify as LGBTQ+
- People experiencing socioeconomic crisis
- Disabled people
- Military veterans
- People who are unemployed
- Socially isolated older people
- Funding for organisations to support the mental wellbeing of staff and volunteers
A second round of micro-grants will open later this month to any small voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) organisations based in Greater Manchester.
