Pennine CarePennine Care NHS Foundation Trust are currently going through their Governor election process and are seeking expressions of interest from individuals within our communities who are interested in standing for election to the Council of Governors.

The Council of Governors is very important to the Trust, they provide opportunities to really connect and interface with patients and communities, Governors work with the Trust and input into the development of their strategies. They also hold the Non-Executives to account making sure that the Trust is delivering on its services and meeting the needs of service users and patients.

The Governor role is a fantastic opportunity to learn from Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and find out more about mental health and learning disability services in your local area. The Council of Governors has a voice and ensures the views of local communities are considered in the development of health services. The Trust would like to ensure that they have Governors from a wide and diverse range of backgrounds. To be elected as a Governor you need to first become a member of the Trust.
