Greater Manchester Combined Authority are reviewing their Hate Crime Strategy for the next four years.
Greater Manchester is a place where everyone should feel safe to be themselves. No one should face violence, abuse or hatred just because of who they are, who they love, where they’re from, what they look like or what they believe. Hate incidents and hate crime will not be tolerated in Greater Manchester.
The current Plan looks at:
- How we raise awareness
- Improve support for victims
- Increase the confidence to report
- How we can prevent hate crime from occurring
Greater Manchester Combined Authority are now refreshing this plan for 2024 onwards and want your input to shape the future priorities and focus.
Why your views matter
If you’ve been a victim or witness of hate, GMCA want to hear about your experiences, whether you reported it or not. Sharing your experiences and suggestions will help to get a better understanding of what is working and what can be improved.
