In the last twelve months over 70 events have been funded in the city of Manchester to highlight and promote the importance of reporting hate crimes but also to celebrate Manchester’s rich diversity and show how we work together to make our city so great.
Hate Crime has no place in Manchester. Everyone has the right to feel safe and we all have a responsibility to stand against hatred, intolerance and discrimination. This has always been important, but even more so in light of the recent terror attacks in Manchester and London.
Hate Crime Awareness Week 2018 is taking place from 5 - 11 February 2018. Details of all the events taking place across the city will be available here: www.makingmanchestersafer.com/info/4/hate_crime
