Have your say - Preventing Hateful Extremism and Promoting Social Cohesion Commission

2 Mar 2018 - 10:05 by michelle.foster

The Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, has established an independent Commission to explore how Greater Manchester’s public services, businesses and communities can collectively promote social cohesion and tackle hateful extremism. More information about the Commission, including the Commissioners, can be found at: www.greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk/GMcohesion. Greater Manchester Combined Authority

As part of this work, the Commissioners would like to find out what people think about the areas we live in, and the communities in which we mix, to ensure people feel able to get on in life. The Commissioners want to know about the good and the bad, and what we can learn from each other.

Give your views and take part in the online consultation here: www.surveymonkey.com/r/GMCohesion

The Commissioners would like to hear from anyone who lives, works or visits Greater Manchester – and they’d like to hear from as many people as possible.

It should take about 10-15 minutes to provide your views, the deadline for responses is 8am on Monday 16 April 2018.

All your views will be taken into consideration in the Commissioners’ report, and a summary of the recommendations will be published later in 2018. There is the opportunity to provide your email address if you wish to receive a copy of the recommendations by email, but this is optional. All responses are confidential and no identifiable information is asked for.

If you have any questions about this work, email: [email protected].
