northwards housingThe Hobin’s Community Fund provides grants to people to help them make a sustainable positive impact across north Manchester. Anyone can apply, not just official groups and organisations. As long as the idea behind the application is of lasting value to the people of north Manchester, the team want to work with people to make it happen. The areas the funding covers are:

  • Blackley
  • Charlestown
  • Cheetham
  • Collyhurst
  • Crumpsall
  • Harpurhey
  • Higher Blackley
  • Moston
  • New Moston
  • Newton Heath

The Northwards team are particularly interested to receive applications that will make a long-term impact on things like:

  • Health and wellbeing / social isolation
  • Green spaces / environmental improvements
  • Supporting young people

Hobin’s Community Fund provides grants to support long-term community based projects in Northwards Housing’s three neighbourhood areas:

  • Cheetham (including Cheetham, Blackley and Crumpsall)
  • Monsall (including Moston, Harpurhey, Collyhurst and Newton Heath)
  • White Moss (including Higher Blackley, Charlestown and New Moston)

At various times throughout the year, applications are welcomed from projects focused on one of those three areas.

Applications are open for the Cheetham neighbourhood area until 20 August 2021.

Applications for Monsall will open September 2021.

Applications for White Moss will open January 2022.
