On 21 February 2025 Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity are hosting the Manchester Sleep Out at Depot Mayfield, a powerful overnight fundraising challenge event that raises awareness and vital funds for the 23,000 young people Centrepoint predict will face homelessness this winter.
The Manchester Sleep Out is more than a fundraiser – it’s a chance for local communities to come together and show their commitment to ending youth homelessness.
What is Sleep Out?
- A night of engaging activities: that will immerse you in Centrepoint’s mission to end youth homelessness by 2037.
- Opportunity to learn directly from staff and young people: hear powerful panel discussions from both staff and young people about their experiences and the impact of your support.
- Overnight fundraising challenge: You will then bed down for uncomfortable nights’ sleep, to provide a small glimpse into some of the realities faced by the young people we support.
Why get involved?
- Make an impact: Funds raised directly support Centrepoint’s services, including housing, mental health support, and education for young people across the UK.
- Show community leadership: Sleep Out participants stand united for an urgent cause, representing Manchester’s compassion and resilience.
- Engage your community members: Inspire teams to take action and involve the local community in a meaningful and memorable event.
Groups of 4 or more can get free registration if they use the code GROUP at the checkout.
