Learning from Covid Mutual Aid Groups in Central Manchester

This learning document shares inspirational activities, models and approaches of Covid Mutual Aid Groups in Central Manchester. 

These groups have done an amazing job of harnessing the ‘neighbourliness’ that was and is still needed, to not only look out for those who have been most at risk but also build stronger communities. 

Central Manchester Health Development Coordinators brought together representatives from these groups together in a meeting, to connect, and to share insights and learning from the local work that has been done in these unprecedented times.

This document is the result, co-produced by Central Manchester Health Development Coordinators and some of the Mutual Aid Groups that developed in response to COVID-19. Also included is the support available to all MAGs from buzz Health and Wellbeing Service, Central Health Development Coordinators and Manchester Community Central.
