Local Sustainability Fund: 2016 awards

1 Apr 2016 - 11:01 by michelle.foster

The Local Sustainability Fund, administered by the Big Lottery Fund, is providing up to £20 million of government funding to high-impact VCSE organisations. It is targeting small to medium-sized VCSE organisations with an income of between £100,000 to £1.5 million a year, and which provide vital services to vulnerable and disadvantaged people.

The successful groups have been announced and we’d like to congratulate all the Manchester groups that were successful, the full list of awards can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/local-sustainability-fund-2016-first-awards

We were keen to offer our help to try and improve the chances of the funding being awarded to as many Manchester groups as possible and we offered support to groups who had been invited to the second stage and we’re delighted that all the eight organisations we supported were successful with their application.
