The Magic Little Grants Fund provides charities and community groups that are either in their first year of operation or have an annual income under £250,000 the opportunity to apply for a £500 grant.
This year the scheme will make grants to 2,650 organisations, compared with 2,000 last year.
The fund will support the following funding themes:
- Improving mental wellbeing
- Enabling community participation in the arts
- Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
- Supporting marginalised groups and promoting equality
- Improving biodiversity and green spaces
- Enabling participation in physical activity
- Responding to the climate emergency and promoting sustainability
- Increasing community access to outdoor space
The following organisations can apply:
- Registered charities with either the Charity Commission for England and Wales or Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR)
- Community Interest Companies (CICs)
- Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs, SCIOs)
- Social enterprises
- Other not-for-profit community organisations
