Manchester City Council's Cultural Partnership Grants programme 2023-26

Manchester City Council's Cultural Partnership Grants programme 2023-26 will provide core funding to cultural organisations in Manchester. Grants are available at £10,000 - £40,000 per year funding(subject to Council decision-making and budget setting) and the programme will launch in September.

To be eligible for this funding, your organisation must be:

  • A cultural or arts-based organisation as stated in your Memorandum and Articles or constitution. This includes: Combined Arts, Dance, Museum, Film and Broadcast, Heritage, Literature, Visual Arts, Digital Art, Music, Photography, Theatre and Performance, and Craft.
  • Based in the City of Manchester, or have a track record of delivering activity for the benefit of the people who live in or visit the city, or that benefits the local economy

Your organisation must also be a constituted voluntary and community sector and not-for-profit organisation, in one of the following forms:  

  • Limited company registered at Companies House
  • Charitable company registered with the Charity Commission
  • Community Interest Company (CIC) registered with the CIC regulator
  • Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) registered with the Charity Commission
  • Community Benefit Society regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

Complete an Expression of Interest form on behalf of your organisation to check if you are eligible to apply for a Cultural Partnership Grant. Submitted Expression of Interest forms will give the team an indication of the number of applications that they will receive once the funding programme opens.
