HOME believe that everyone’s an Artist, or has the potential to become an Artist! That’s why they are inviting you to enter your artwork to the Manchester Open Exhibition – a major art show celebrating the creative talent of Greater Manchester.
From January to March 2020, the HOME Gallery walls will be filled with work from 500+ Greater Manchester residents, selected by a panel consisting of art experts and community representatives.
Open to all, including those who may already identify as artists and those who might not, the Manchester Open will bring together artwork including paintings, prints, photography, sculpture, digital and mixed media, video and audio, spoken word, performance and more. This is the first region-wide exhibition of its type to welcome entries from people of any background and level of experience, including established professionals, new and emerging talent, enthusiastic amateurs and first-time artists.
Applicants can submit as an individual or a group via a specially designed online application form: https://homemcr.org/manchester-open/
It’s free to submit your art works, there’s no age restriction – but if you’re under 13 you need parents/guardians permission, all you’ll need is a Greater Manchester postcode and to get it in before the deadline: Monday 7 October 2019.
