The Manchester Sleepout is a challenge event so prepare to be challenged. It isn’t a festival. Hear powerful accounts of personal experience and insights into the Booth Centre’s work before trying to get some sleep outside in the grounds of the Manchester Cathedral; a place of importance for the Booth Centre as that was their first home when the Booth Centre was founded in 1995.
There will also be a performance from members of their Streetwise Opera group. Weekly workshops at the Booth Centre, delivered by longstanding partners - Streetwise Opera, provide a creative outlet, a chance to make friends and shared goals to work towards – which you will get to be part of on the evening of The Manchester Sleepout.
The Manchester Sleepout is very generously co-sponsored byConstruction Impact Framework, the University of Salford, and Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, so that the vital funds raised by participants can be spent where it will have the most impact. The funds raised are directed towards supporting people to rebuild their lives. It's important for you to know that your fundraising will have a very direct impact.
