MRSN Check in and chat buddy scheme

MRSNAre you experiencing the effects of loneliness and social isolation because of the Coronavirus?
Or, would you welcome the friendly voice of someone at the other end of the phone to help you practice your English conversation skills?

A group of volunteers from Manchester Refugee Support Network (MRSN) have come together and are here for you.

MRSN would like to support their clients and of their partner agencies to ensure that nobody is left isolated or without support. MRSN don’t ask for anything in return, they just believe in being a friendly voice at the other end of the phone.

The volunteers at MRSN and are known to the organisation and they will interview interested new volunteers. Either way all volunteers will be required to complete an application form and agree to specific personal safety checks.

Give support as a volunteer
If you are already a registered volunteer with MRSN and would like to volunteer in this capacity complete the online form.
New volunteers are required to complete a full application form which can be found on their website.
