New cycle parking grant programme for Greater Manchester

The new £830k grant programme, funded through the DfT and Active Travel England Active Travel Fund, will support provision of cycle parking across Greater Manchester.

The provision of cycle parking alongside infrastructure is therefore key to the success of new schemes.

TfGM is committed to supporting organisations within Greater Manchester to deliver new cycle parking facilities that complement development of the Bee Network.

Who can apply?
Grants are available up to a maximum of £15,000.

You can apply for the grant if you're based in Greater Manchester and are one of the below:

  • A small business
  • A community interest groups and/or organisation
  • A primary, secondary and/or further education provider
  • An NHS healthcare provider

This grant can be used by organisations to install cycle parking that will be available for use by anyone travelling to that location by bicycle, including but not limited to staff, pupils, residents, patients and visitors.
