One Manchester Community Fund

Do you have an idea for a project that can make a difference in the local community? Need some help getting it off the ground?
The One Manchester Community Fund has £500,000 in grant funding available over the next five years to support projects in the communities in which they work. Donations will be awarded to those organisations that can demonstrate that their work is making a change happen in their community.

One Manchester are particularly keen to hear if you have a new idea to solve a social problem. Initiatives can focus on young people, health and wellbeing, financial and digital inclusion, social enterprise, recycling or culture and sport.

The Community Fund is open to any groups, organisations or projects that will benefit people living in the areas where Eastlands Homes and City South have homes.

Grants of up to £1000 are available to groups, organisations or projects that will improve the lives of people in the following areas:
Ardwick, Beswick, Clayton, Fallowfield, Gorton, Hulme, Levenshulme, Longsight, Miles Platting, Moss Side, Openshaw, Rusholme, Whalley Range.

Applications should have a positive impact on one or more of the following:
• Youth
• Health and wellbeing
• Financial and digital inclusion
• Social enterprise
• Recycling and pride of place
• Culture and sport
• Community cohesion

One Manchester are particularly keen to hear from applicants with creative solutions to community issues.

The closing dates for this financial year are as follows:
Round Two: 30 September 2015
Round Three: 31 January 2016
