One Manchester Launches Community Fund

The One Manchester Community Fund will provide £500,000 in grant funding over the next five years. The first round of funding is open now, offering grants of up to £1,000 towards a range of projects that will improve the lives of people in our communities.

One Manchester is the new partnership between Eastlands Homes and City South Manchester Housing.

Local voluntary and community groups can apply for grants of up to £1,000 to support projects taking place in Ardwick, Beswick, Clayton, Fallowfield, Gorton, Hulme, Levenshulme, Longsight, Miles Platting, Moss Side, Openshaw, Rusholme, and Whalley Range.

The funding is for projects that benefit people living in East and Central Manchester and address at least one of the following categories:
• Youth
• Social Enterprise
• Health and Wellbeing
• Recycling and Pride of Place
• Financial or Digital Inclusion
• Culture or Sport
• Community Cohesion

Projects should be able to demonstrate a new solution to solve a social problem and evidence benefit to the community.
