PeerFest 2023

Do you need funding for your peer support work? Would you like to have your say on funding? PeerFest 2023 is happening in Greater Manchester this year with funding as just one of many peerfestopportunities for community-led peer support.

PeerFest is coming to The Lowry Theatre! PeerFest is an annual event celebrating the importance, power, and diversity of community-led groups that come together for peer support. It's an opportunity to network, exchange knowledge, and discover best practices through engaging workshops, creative activities, thought-provoking debates, and the prestigious Marsh Awards. We believe in creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and inspired, regardless of their background or abilities. Diversity and inclusivity lie at the heart of PeerFest as we strive to ensure that everyone feels embraced and celebrated.

Putting on something at PeerFest
Want to run an activity? PitchFest – the process in which communities come and pitch their ideas for a workshop, activity, art installation and much more. An independent PitchFest
Panel then decide on the final content of the day.

PeerFest Grants
The community grants programme is to support local community groups in the area. Theer is £7,500 to distribute.

Your help is needed to ensure that the grants programme speaks to the rich and diverse communities of Greater Manchester. There will be two consultations to hear what you have to say about the amazing work you are doing, potentially cover any issues your group are facing and what amount/type of funding would be most helpful for groups like yours.
