People’s Panel for AI – Roadshows

Curious about AI and what it could mean for you?

Join one of the AI Community Roadshows for a friendly conversation about the possibilities, challenges and ethics of AI.

Led by Computer Science researchers from Manchester Metropolitan University, the AI Community Roadshows will help you build your confidence with AI, understand how it works and explore some of the questions around its use.

Maybe you’ve wondered:

  • What does AI actually mean?
  • Can it be trusted?
  • How could it affect me?

Over coffee and cake, you'll join a friendly discussion with Annabel, Keeley and Kaleem – Computer Science researchers from Manchester Metropolitan University who are passionate about making sure more people have a say in decisions about AI.

The roadshows will explore the possibilities, challenges and ethics of AI, with plenty of time to ask questions and share what you think. You’ll also discover exciting opportunities to join a paid People's Panel and help shape how AI is used in Manchester City Council services.

Whether you’ve experimented with AI or have never used it at all, everyone is welcome.
