Postcode Community Trust funds projects in Great Britain. These projects can be up to 12 months in length. Postcode Community Trust will consider projects which improve health and wellbeing through:
• Grassroots sports arts and recreation projects that improve health and wellbeing
• Projects that improve the health of communities through, for example, first aid courses, befriending, counselling or reducing isolation
Postcode Community Trust was established in 2014 to support projects which benefit a community's mental and/or physical health and wellbeing.
Between 1 August and 15 August charities and community groups can apply for grants of between £500 and £20,000 from the fund.
To apply you must be a:
• Registered charity (requires a number from OSCR or Charity Commission)
• SCIO
• Constituted voluntary or community group
• Social enterprise
• Community interest company (CIC)
• Not-for-profit organisation
• Local club or other constituted community group
Your organisation must be a registered charity if you wish to apply for over £2,000.
There is a two stage application process:
Stage 1 – Expression of Interest (EOI) requires basic details about your organisation, as well as a very short summary (500 characters) of the project you are proposing.
Stage 2 – Full Application, this stage requires applicants to provide more detail on both their organisation and the project, for example: core aims and activities of the organisation; outlining the project need and main activities; full breakdown of the total project costs.
The dates for Round 2 2018 funding are:
Stage 1: 1 August - 15 August
Stage 2: 5 September - 19 September
