The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust is the branch of the Postcode Lottery's grant-giving trusts that covers the north of England. The Trust's third and final round of funding for this year will be open at 10am on 2 October for a minimum of 24 hours. The Trust's funding priorities are:
- Providing support to improve mental health (activities that are actively supporting specific mental health issues, rather than general mental wellbeing activities)
- Enabling participation in physical activity
- Enabling participation in the arts
- Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
- Supporting marginalised groups and tackling inequality
- Improving biodiversity and responding to the climate emergency
- Improving green spaces and increasing access to the outdoors
Registered charities, CICs and Community Benefit Societies are eligible to apply for a maximum of £25,000, while other constituted not-for-profit groups can apply for up to £2,500.
Funding will be prioritised for:
- Organisations with an annual income of under £250,000
- Those that operate in areas in the 15% most deprived in England (per IMD statistics)
- Those that are led by and for communities experiencing racial inequality/people with disabilities/LGBT+ communities
Applications can be made for either project or unrestricted funding.
