Postcode Neighbourhood Trust – North of England

postcode neighbourhood trust logoThe Postcode Neighbourhood Trust provides funding for smaller charities and good causes in the north of England under the themes:

  • Improving mental wellbeing
  • Enabling community participation in the arts
  • Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
  • Supporting marginalised groups and promoting equality
  • Improving biodiversity and green spaces
  • Enabling participation in physical activity
  • Responding to the climate emergency and promoting sustainability
  • Increasing community access to outdoor space

Community Interest Companies with an asset lock, Constituted voluntary organisations with no charity number, Community benefit societies with an asset lock and excepted and exempted charities can apply for grants between £500 – £2,000. Charities registered with The Charity Commission or OSCR can apply for grants between £500 – £20,000.

In order to process the high number of applications each round will close once 100 bids have been submitted, or by the dates indicated below, whichever comes first. Once a round has closed organisations who didn't get to apply are encouraged to apply in the following month's round.

Funding rounds in 2021 will open on:

  • 3 May until 17 May, 5pm
  • 1 June until 15 June, 5pm
  • 1 July until 15 July, 5pm
  • 2 August until 16 August, 5pm
  • 1 September until 15 August, 5pm
  • 1 October until 15 October, 5pm
