Rosa Launches Voices from the Frontline Grants Scheme

11 Dec 2015 - 11:26 by michelle.foster

Rosa, the UK Fund for Women and Girls has launched a new grants programme called Voices from the Frontline which is an innovative new programme aimed at shining a light on women at the front of the fight for gender equality. Supporting charitable advocacy work, Voices from the Frontline will increase the skills, capacity and credibility of women who wish to challenge gender inequality and promote awareness and change, moving us closer to social justice and equality for women in the UK.

Voices from the Frontline, will invest in UK women’s projects, connect women with each other and gather and share intelligence about what works. The sort of work which might be supported includes coaching for a service user to speak at an event, lobbying for training to support organisational advocacy strategies, or the creation of campaign materials, such as posters and videos.

The programme aims to:
• Support advocacy and influencing work across any one of Rosa’s four pillars
• Amplify the voices of individual women at the frontline of grassroots work in the UK
• Support work which can, long-term, tackle the underlying causes of a problem and create change
• Nurture talent. Advocacy driven by inspiring, committed leaders can achieve remarkable results

Grants of between £500 - £2,000 are available.

Applicants need to apply by video.
