The Shop Direct Charitable Foundation aims to support charities, voluntary and community groups who work with, or run projects for, children and young people.
The focus of the fund is to create safe and inspiring environments for children and young people that impact positively on local social need.
Grants of between £2,000 and £7,000 are available.
What can be funded?
Core costs if there is a sustainability plan in place, capital costs but not in relation to building refurbishment or vehicles.
The fund is targeted at small grassroots organisations and applicants must have a turnover of £200,000 or less per annum to apply. Previous applicants are welcome to reapply but must ensure all past project monitoring is completed.
The Foundation is targeting two areas where the Shop Direct Group have facilities - Merseyside (excluding Halton) and Greater Manchester (priority will be given to groups in Oldham and Bolton).
