For 2014, Skipton Building Society has allocated 161 donations of £500 to help fund development for grassroots organisations.
The idea behind the Grassroots Giving campaign is to help community organisations, or groups, who only have access to limited funding from elsewhere. If you are a small group that is working to help those in your local neighbourhood this is for you.
Skipton Building Society are looking for applications from organisations or groups that show a real commitment to their local community. Skipton Building Society are looking for applications which offer “the greatest chance to progress ideas and activities with a lasting impact.”
After the application deadline all applications will be reviewed and shortlisted names will be posted on their website and throughout September people are invited to vote online for the applicants whom they would most like to see receive the 161 donations of £500.
